Richard Ward the founder of LookSee China Canada Communications uses his eclectic experience in life, business and government to help his clients gain an open understanding and perspective of Canada and China that helps them to achieve their goals in China and Canada.
Richard was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and grew up in towns and cities across Ontario.
Richard lives in Beijing, China and travels throughout China. He also travels to Canada on a regular basis.
After serving as a Special Assistant to a federal cabinet minister in the 70′s Richard worked in public and government relations, computer software and telecommunications development and consulting and headhunting.
Richard has travelled extensively throughout Canada and lived in Montreal, Pictou, Toronto, Brockville, Ottawa and Halifax.
Graduating from St. Andrew’s College in Aurora, Ontario he attended McGill University in Montreal studying commerce and theology. He studied communication arts at Loyola College, Concordia University.
Richard is a practicing Buddhist and a student of Taosim, I Ching, Feng Shui, Chinese astrology and of all things Chinese. He is a trained home hospice volunteer with Toronto Home Hospice and a practitioner of Reiki and shamanism.
He is slowly – very slowly – becoming fluent in spoken Mandarin Chinese.
